REFLEXOLOGY

In reflexology the feet are seen as a mirror to the body, reflecting one’s state of health. Treatment to the feet by thumb and finger walking influences our mental and physical health, promoting general well-being.

BODY MASSAGE

Massage uses the healing art of touch.  Working on the muscular soft tissue structure using a variety of massage techniques.  It can be used effectively through full body or part massage, e.e. back, or hand/arm massage.

 

SHIATSU

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of body therapy using ancient and modern theories.  It involves the gentle stretching, plaming and holding of the receivers body in order to improve energy flow, blood circulation, flexibility and posture, allowing the giving and receiving of care, warmth and healing through non-intrusive touch.  The client remains fully clothed throughout.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOLISTIC HEALING THERAPY

This is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing.  It’s based on the idea that “life force energy” flows through us and the therapist (the giver) is the channel by which energy is drawn through to aid the imbalance or need of the client.  The client remains fully clothed throughout this treatment.

 

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Indian Head Massage is based on the ayurvedic system of healing and aims to release the stress and tension that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles, and joints of head, face, neck and shoulders.  The client is usually in a seated position for this treatment.

 

SPORTS THERAPY MASSAGE

Sports therapy massage utilises various manual techniques to assess the condition and effective qualities of soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments etc.) then applies the appropriate procedures to improve the condition, efficiency, activity or release of the area in question.
